Well the last 3 days in Slovakia have been pretty enjoyable and relaxing. I have been staying with my friend Robert who
I met in Oslo, and his parents in a small little town in Slovakia. Slovakia is a farming country, so it is somewhat
similar to Alberta, lots of farms, mostly Corn and Sunflowers from what I saw. I am amazed at how close Vienna is, less
than an hours drive, and to think I was there about a month ago, my travel route certainly is a little scattered!

We have toured around the various towns cities near here, it's quite interesting to see how they look, they all have
very typical communist apartment buildings, some which are being refinished on the outside to look a little less gray
and bleek. I quite enjoyed the small towns, everything was quite relaxing, and the Slovakian girls are quite attractive.
Tourism is not so big here, there are some German and Czech tourists, but it would have been very hard for me to have
done this country with out a friend who speaks the language, as hardly anyone speaks English.

The hospitality here is great, so much food, I am stuffed all the time. Lots of meat and potatoes, and very tasty
tomatoes. Not to mention the Ice Cream we try at every little town, which is very good, favorite flavor was lyche,
tasted just like the fruit!

Now I am just getting ready to go to sleep, as we are taking an bus to Prague tomorrow morning, that should be a fun
city! I am certainly looking forward to it, not sure where I am going to go after that though, there is still so much to
see in Europe, and I can't believe it is already August!

You may have noticed a new look to the website, I had to upgrade to install some new Spam Protection features, seems my
site is getting more and more popular with evil spammers, and I had to do something to prevent the 20 or so emails I was
getting a day. A few new features though, one is you can mark each post as read, (cookies required) so then you can
make sure you don't miss one of my exciting posts!
