Well the time has come, it is hard to believe that in about 24hours I will be heading too the airport to begin my
travels.
I have finished packing, I have opted only to bring one pair of shoes, and some sandals. Just wasn't room for the 2nd pair of shoes since I had to bring some colder weather clothes as it does get chilly at night in the higher elevation cities of the Andes.. But I will likely post or ditch my colder weather clothes once I get closer to Central America since it will be warmer and more humid there.. So that concludes the Soap Opera of Shoes and Packing!
The remainder of the day I will be ensuring that I have brought everything, and then one last home cooked meal with the family, and then I will try to get some sleep, which I am sure will not be easy with all the excitement, but since Wednesday night will be spent on a plane, I must try to get as much sleep as I can.
So this will likely be the last posting from Calgary, next stop Santiago Chile!! I will likely be back in Calgary sometime in early June to prepare for the European/Asian/Pacific Rim portion of the trip.
Oh, I will be setting up a new tab that will link to another site, that will have a nice Travel Map, that lays out where I have been, and how far I have traveled, more for my own interest, but I figured some of you may like to see that as well.
